Elk jaar doen een honderdtal verklede bezoekers mee aan de cosplay - wedstrijd.

De prijzen dit jaar zijn DVD's alsook cadeaubonnen van onze sponser ACME (te gebruiken aan hun stand).

Lees eerst het cosplay deelname reglement en vul dan onderstaand formulier in indien u wenst deel te nemen. Meld u aan 1 van de wedstrijdstands (Belgian Cosplay Team of Belgian Voyager Club) op F.A.C.T.S.

F.A.C.T.S. Cosplay participation rules

Contestants to the F.A.C.T.S. cosplay can be individuals or groups. Due to a relocation of the Fan Village, we will use a rectangular stage instead of a square stage. This means that groups will not be able to perform elaborate acts on stage. Please keep this in mind. The on-stage time given will be:
1. 90 seconds for individual contestants;
2. 180 seconds for groups.

The contestants can enroll in one of 3 categories:
1. Kids;
2. Manga and games;
3. Movies and Sci-fi.

You can register for the F.A.C.T.S. Cosplay on our website as well as on F.A.C.T.S. itself. Contestants can register on F.A.C.T.S. at the joint booth of BCT (Belgian Cosplay Team) and BVC (Belgian Voyager Club) in the Fan Village until 13.00 hours.

Upon registration for the F.A.C.T.S. Cosplay, please provide the name of the character you are depicting, as well as the anime/manga, movie or game from which it originates. This is to allow the jury to evaluate your performance. Contestants who wish to use music, can do so.

The Cosplay will traditionally start at 2 PM in the afternoon. All contestants should check in at 13.30 hours at the latest at the joint BCT and BVC booth in the Fan Village or be present at the stage. The location of this booth can be acquired at the F.A.C.T.S. info booth at the entrance of F.A.C.T.S..

Contestants may use replica weapons on stage as far as these weapons are not harmful for the public. Actually firing round from (replica) fire-arms on stage or on F.A.C.T.S. itself is not allowed. People breaching this rule will immediately be disqualified from the Cosplay and removed from F.A.C.T.S..

Prizes will be given to the first, second and third person or group, selected by the jury, constituted of 3 people. The jury will use the following criteria to evaluate the contestants:
1. the quality of the costume;
2. the similarity with the character the contestants are depicting;
3. the presentation and prestation on stage.

* These criteria will be applied flexibly on the category kids.
